Extremely difficult item to obtain, this is just the canister for the German 1917 pattern gas mask. Albeit slightly worn, but with quite a lot of original paint that is remaining to the body, it is a fraction of the price of a complete ensemble. There is a smudge of red paint that has dripped down the side – but it can easily be removed, and the paper label inside the lid is fully intact. There are no straps BUT, it is an ideal item to finish your mannequin without breaking the bank
