An extremely well presented double decal Luftwaffe helmet in parade blue finish.

It is a Quist 68, size 59 liner. Larger sized helmets seem to be more desirable, and usually the ones’ that are this size rarely have the condition this one is in.

All pins are tight to the correct type of liner, and there is a very faint dome stamp to the centre.

The liner band is rock solid to the shell, and the leather is supple, with a couple of small tears where the tie string holes are.

Both decals are present, the Adler having about 80% remaining, and the tri colour 100%.

The leather strap is brown (as it should be) and there is a very faint maker’s mark, but I cannot make out what it is

This is a lovely helmet from my own collection. It is priced fairly in today’s market.
