A super untouched Army single decal retaining approximately 98% Decal and original factory finish. The adler has a nice golden tone being only slightly marred by a wing scratch, and a small “ding” to the eagles head. The shell is stamped SE66 for the maker Sächsische emailler und stanzwerke A.G. / Lauter, with a clear lot number stamped to the rear skirt. All the pins are tight to the liner and it is stamped for a size of 58. There are a couple of initials penned to the inside. All leather tongues are present and nice and supple. It is complimented by a nice supple chinstrap with a maker (difficult to make out) and an original drawstring.

One of the few items that is increasing in value are decent combat helmets. They are not in abundance anymore and are being kept in collections. Finding them is extremely difficult, and they are not cheap to buy
