Considering its age (80 years this year) this item is in remarkable condition. I have had “one” of these before, slightly different, but made the same. It is an official winner’s headdress for the gymnastic festival that took place just before the official games in 11^th- 12^th July 1936. The leaves are made from a waxy type paper, and the acorns are real ones, inserted through wire. There are a couple missing, but it does make an interesting and un-usual display piece
