This is a truly wonderful example of an untouched M42 combat helmet, with a stunning decal, complete with supple liner and chin strap.

The Pocher decal is in amazing condition with no dings or scrapes, just a slight colour loss of the black near the top left. This decal manufacturer was used by NS.

The skirt of the Helmet is stamped NS64 for   Vereinigte Deutsche Nickelwerke / Schwerte, and on the rear skirt is the lot nr 3272. The size 57 liner is complete with all rivets being tight to the shell and all tongues and drawstring present and is nicely worn around the rim edge and still very supple. The chinstrap is an unmarked one with the later (1943ish ) painted buckle.

Helmets are one of the few items that are increasing in value, and finding an untouched example is nigh on impossible. This is a helmet with plenty of character
