One of the better ones for sale at the moment, this is a completely unmolested  “ worn” Police Helmet with the more desirable “bordered” police decal. This is a Quist specific decal – Exclusively found on Quist shells. Both decals rate at 95% + with the eagle decal having a small “ding” in the centre, and the party shield just a couple of scratches

The original factory paint finish rates nearly 98% with only minor storage marks and light scratching. The shell is clearly stamped Q66 for “Quist” manufacture, often thought to be superior helmets because of their heavy weight. Lot number is nice and clear “T1249” The liner has all tongues present, and are nice and supple, with an original drawstring completing the ensemble. It has a functioning brown leather chinstrap lightly marked with a manufactures name, and a date of 1940
