I still think that you can’t beat a good combat helmet that has character – and this one certainly has some of that!.

An M35 re-issue with thick green overpaint, Adler decal under paint that has cracked – and the silver content can be seen – it is difficult to photograph – but in hand you can see it. The tri colour has – by the looks of it, although I can’t be certain- been removed as per regulations before the overpaint occurred. A lovely size 56 liner in an EF 62 shell, The leather has “worn” through at the brim- but all tongues are complete. Complemented with a brown – early – chinstrap. This is a real character piece that would grace a collection – at a really bargain price – if you compare with what is out there at the moment!
