This is a no decal transitional combat helmet that is about as original as they come. Either it has never had decals applied or they were scrapped off at an early stage. Lovely dark green overpaint that is period applied that has an M31 early liner system installed complete with a chinstrap. The helmet displays a nice amount of wear to it, all the rivets are tight to the liner. The period red manoeuvres band sits nicely around the shell – I can’t guarantee that it has been there forever – but it is how it came to me.
