Rare Luftwaffe set to a man who served in Hauptfilmstelle RLM which was a propaganda film unit. He had also served in Spain and although it is not listed in the Wehrpass, he won the Spanish Cross as seen by the photo that comes with the set. He was killed during a sortie with the bomber unit KG-55 during The Battle of Britain (11th Sept 1940). The aircraft made it home but he did not survive the sortie and was on the sortie to film it as he is listed on the Loss Report as a PK. There is a letter to the parents briefly explaining the circumstances of his death
