A time warp example of a Luftwaffe single decal helmet that retains 100% of the original factory applied decal.

The helmet exhibits all of the original factory blue finish with all 3 pins matching in colour and perfectly tight to the liner band

The shell is marked NS 64 for Emaillerwerke A.G. / Fulda Lot Nr is faintly stamped and difficult to determine. But as most serious collectors know lot numbers are not the definitive or exhaustive list for originality.

The liner has a superb dark tan colour and is lightly rubbed around the edges. Size 57 with all tongues supple and intact with a faint pen name of Capt. Mickel – presumably the name of the individual that “liberated” it.

The full length chinstrap is undamaged and displays a lovely makers mark and date of 1942. There are plenty of helmets out there that are run of the mill and mundane – this example is spectacular and would grace any collection – Its a keeper!
