This is a really lovely little grouping to a lady in the Luftwaffe Helpers section. There is a very nice period photograph post card size, complete with a trade badge and ID disc.

The trade badge is the Entfernungsmesser Tätigkeitsabzeichen  -Flak Range Finder Trade Badge.It’s a 1942 pattern insignia with the Gothic script “E” to the top centre, This indicates, Entfernungsmesser – Rangefinder.

The ID disc - Erkennungsmarke – is Zinc based, for female-staff, bearing the stamped unit-designation: Gen. z.b.V. IV Ers.D. – Betr.Helferinnenschaft

The reverse of the badge and the ID disc has cardboard deposits where it has been glued into an album at some point, and removed. All in all a lovely little set, that has probably been the pride and joy of someone years ago.
