Named NCO cap with golden yellow waffenfarbe piping and insignia which are both tight to the cap. The Ertsatz leather chinstrap is in good condition, as is the visor peak with the desirable green underside.

The sweatband is in worn condition and is machine sewn to the lining, which has a celluloid diamond marked HPC. Hermann Potthoff Coesfeld is renowned for quality private purchases and their own patented  Freisschluft  stirndruckfrei (“Fresh air pressure free”) system; with more ventilation grommets behind the wreath and cockade than Erel’s headwear.

Heer examples of this maker are uncommon but available, Luftwaffe examples are very seldom found
