Here’s your chance to grab a real bargain. This is a magnificent example of an “altered” 4 pocket Luftwaffe tunic, badges for flight with yellow insignia, with 3 gulls on the collar and 2 stripes on the sleeve signifies the rank of Obergefreiter.

The tunic is free from any damage and no moth or wear anywhere. It started life as a 4 pocket Anzugrock – Uniform tunic. It has been shortened making it look more personal and, although I cannot prove this the individual would do this wartime to tailor the jacket (not against regulations) Postwar they commonly took off the sleeve cuffs, to have a more civilian look.

Some very nice clear stamps are to the inside with an LBA stamp together with a clear size and makers stamp for Leux im Frankfurt am Main and a big size !

The tunic fits very nicely on a mannequin and would grace any collection
