On Layaway for Michael -As daggers go – and they are plentiful, this one stands out above the rest – probably why I bought it – A super condition Luftwaffe Dagger by Richard Herder. An “uncommon” maker to be encountered, as lots were either WKC  or Eickhorn – Rarely can you find a nice Herder. And it has the usual Herder “trait” of the white handle. The blade is crisp and clean – apart from a few bits of spotting – see pictures, and the fittings are a nice deep grey colour. Without any hangers or knot – as it makes it expensive to buy.
