Product Information

Out of Stock

A very nice, and rare DAF porcelain shield by the German Manufacturer “Paul Mann & Crone”

The shield measures 22cm x 15 cm and is free from damage or chips/cracks ect:

It is remarkable how these things have survived over the years.

Biscuit porcelain is the un-glazed type of porcelain, and has a rough (ish) kind of texture, with a dull appearance

The figures are raised in appearance at the bottom is the DAF cog wheel with swastika inset, and the wording roughly translated means Honour the workers and the workmanship.

To the bottom left hand side is the “patent pending mark. Ges. Gesch. And to the bottom right is I think the maker “ Paul Mann & Crone, but to the right of the sun wheel is “Muller Erfurt”
