This is the 1^st of a small collection of quality daggers we have just bought. And this one is a gem

A beautiful untouched and near perfect example of a  Carl Eickhorn  Kriegsmarine dagger which has a beautiful off-white ivorine grip with golden wire binding. The typical double-engraved blade is in mint condition with perfect anodised etchings; with standard pattern etching – foliage and fouled anchors to the centre the dagger, and has particularly dark anodised panels to the blade, which contrast well against the untouched blade. The blade sits securely. A functional push button on the reverse of the crossguard, locking the dagger within its scabbard during storage.

The golden scabbard and fittings retain 95% finish, and is free from damage. The tightly wound portepee has been on the dagger forever and displays a perfect combination of age and light wear with some fraying near the guard

 The whole dagger exhibits fine quality, and in overall near mint condition, with age-associated patina.

A perfect untouched example that would be hard to upgrade from, and would enhance any collection
