This is an interesting badge to find – If I saw that badge without the hardware I would assume it was a cast reproduction from the softness of the features, The maker is a  “Type C” of the four FLL maker marks and the hardware is correct for Friedrich Linden, Lüdenscheid, and date 43 it is an original that maybe has been soaked in some kind of strong solvent for a long time which has removed almost every last vestige of finish and smoothed the surface? There looks to be some traces of the original dark finish on the reverse so it was finished at one time, but I’ve never seen so completely a stripped obverse as that before
