This is a super „untouched“ single decal combat helmet, that has bags of character . The helmet retains nearly 100% of its original factory blue finish, and a factory applied decal that is only slightly marred by a vertical scratch in the middle. The shell is stamped ET for the manufacture  “Eisenhuttenwerk in Thale” and sized 64 lot Nr stamped to the rear reads 1436. The helmet is complete with a 56 liner, which shows signs of being worn, but not heavily. The leather is a lovely golden colour and is nice and supple. It also has an original drawstring fitted. All pins are tight and show no signs of being tampered with. And the helmet is complete with a nice m id war chinstrap. The long piece of the strap appears to have been cut, but not right the way through. I have seen this done before on other helmets I have owned where as it was being “liberated” the chinstrap
