Two citations for the ϟϟ Polizei- Jacob Thielen was wounded in an air raid when on air raid protection duty.

He was hospitalized until 1947 where his left leg and arm amputated.

The first Citation is for a Gold Wound badge. Verwundeten-Abzeichen in Gold, dated 02/04/1945. Signed by Oberfeldarzt und Chefarzt Reservelazarett Ludwigsburg 1 Dr. Dieter.

Citation number two is for the EK11 award. Eisernes Kreuz 2. Klasse, dated 20/04/1945. Signed by Oberfeldarzt und Chefarzt Reservelazarett Ludwigsburg 1 Dr. Dieter. A very late awarddocument

 

The group was purchased directly by me from the family -  is in good condition with only minor wear to the edges and have been folded
